Can't modify a modifiable object

Hi, I'm a newbie with a question. While playing around with my appearance, I noticed that I had some outfits in my library. I decided to try out the pleated skirt from little red riding hood. So I dragged it on to my character and that worked - except that my rear is a little to big for it and my cheeks are clipping . I wanted to make it fuller. The properties say it's modifiable, but I can edit it. There's no edit option in the right-click menu and I can see it when I try change my appearance.

Any ideas?

Are you trying to edit the clothing object, directly? Or, are you going into the Appearance dialog box? If you rt click > Appearance, a dialog appears. You can then select the appropriate clothing item to modify its fit via the slider bars.

One thing. This may be due to the fact that it is an item located in the public folders (available to everyone). If it's copyable, you may try copying it to your own Clothing folder, attaching the copied item, and then try editing, again.

One way around this problem is a "Pants AV" and a "Skirt AV". SL skirts tend to balloon out and give you a chunky rear! hehe
