SLPRS Moves to PHP!!!!

Hello hello everyone!!!!

We have migrated the entire registry into a database with a PHP interface! What does that mean to you? Even easier perusal of the Registry, options for how to search the registry, and it lays the ground work for our user interface for updating information and images!!!

While I was at it I have made some minor aesthetic changes throughout the site, and we have made a HUGE update to the Registry itself! Approx. 20 removals, 15 new locations, and ALL CURRENT REGISTRIES ARE 100% UP-TO-DATE!!!!! It's been a fantastic ass bust lol, but extremely successful! We still have yet to add the Recreational Activities back into the mix, as I am trying to figure out the best way to database them , but look for those to be back soon with their own search type!

The in-world registry notecards won't be ready until later this evening or tomorrow. I am redesigning the layout to go a little more according to what we have here, and I am doing a script redesign to the SLPRS Kiosks =) We will also be starting the policy of notifying ALL registry entries (in case they were selected without their knowledge ), and each person will receive a folder containing a notecard welcoming them to the registry, an updated kiosk, and a landmark to Kumori!

Lastly, we will indeed be moving the forums some time over the next week. Lots is happening around the farm, so be sure to check back frequently!

Thanks Unhygienix! I'm predicting 2 months tops for the user interface tools, so hopefully it will get better and better as people utilize it and help us define what it should truly be =D

always a great job Higbee O FYI...... I have got rid of the parks in Jenner so they should prolly be rmoved from the list.. the end of april I will be getting a island and plant to have many parks on it, will keep you inforrmed

um, was this targeted to a specific group/crowd, or of general interest? Just curious, as I have no clue what you're talking about, tho sounds interesting....

Not a problem at all Toy =) I have a new entry to put in, so I'll remove yours while I am at it. And I am glad you like the program, I use it for all of my wood textures (well unless I find a pic of real bark that is a good resolution =D)

I am going to be sending out a notecard to ALL caretakers listed in the registry, outlining their places listed, a thank you from us, as well as an updated version of the kiosks! Should be out to everyone tomorrow barring all of the problems we know SL is likely to have On another side note, the forums have been officially moved to SLuniverse.com, in the group section =D Thanks Cristiano!

FYI Ghoti, here's something you could do:

In your signature have the link to the registry application;
