The Taber Tree is assembled in Taber and is now ready for your ornaments.

Everyone is welcome to contribute, as an individual or as part of a group. Please put something about your ornament in the description.

This could be fun.....!

Just to add, could everyone try to make their ornaments *fairly* low prim please, to make sure there's enough prims to go round, and bear in mind it's a PG sim. Thanks.

Looking forward to seeing 'em all!

I worked a 12-hour shift yesterday, then logged on to SL, dead-tired, and found at the Taber Tree:

Snow falling...
Christmas music playing...
Beautiful and creative ornaments...
Lights for the tree...
A beautiful yellow star on top...
Snow on the ground...
There was even a newbie there making his very first build -- an ornament.

What a joy. What a pleasure.

I think the tree is a wonderful idea. I put my ornament up very soon after your post first appeared here about it Maggie. At that time there were already a couple of other ornaments. I can't wait to visit again today and see how much has been added! :)

Yeah, I enjoyed adding an ornament and other little things to the tree. :D

It's been fun to meet the people coming to put ornaments on the tree.

I'm keeping track of the dwell I'm earning on all the people hanging out and working on the tree and all of the things springing up around it.

Since this has not been my project...it's truly been done by a large number of people, some of whom I don't even know...I will hold a vote for "Favorite Ornament" as soon as I can figure out how and I will give all of the dwell money I have earned to the winner.

But it'll be a difficult vote...there are some marvelous ornaments there.

People keep leaving free things to share there, too. So drop by if you haven't yet and get a few ornaments, have a snowball fight, roast marshmallows, have a cup of hot chocolate and ride the train.

Spectacular and fun to watch it progress. Thanks all who are making it possible.

It is a very relaxing place to visit, particularly at night. Lots of ornamented conifers are springing up around SL but this is still my favorite.

I am physically moving in RL on 12/30. So, a real Xmas tree is out of the question this year. This tree is serving the purpose very well. Thanks guys! (and you don't have to water it)

If I understand 1.2 correctly, the Taber Ornament Tree will not be possible next year because i would have to pay RL $ for going over my prim limit with the items everyone else is putting on and around the tree.

So, just in case... let's have fun with it this year and cherish it in case it can't be done again.

Come by. Put an ornament on the tree.

So put the Yule Log on the TV, and the Taber Tree on the monitor. Set up a video stream for family and friends to see you.

I am become ...digital ....

hey.....I think I *like* that idea, Tcoz...! Put the Taber Tree on a monitor. No tinsel on the floor. No lights to untangle. No pine needles to sweep. ahhhhh.....

And by the way...your ornament rocks!
