Any of you see the footage of the brawl that happened at the end of the Pacers & Pistons game?
My opinion is, some fans need to get their ass whooped. You can say it's wrong that Artest went into the crowd to attack this guy, but if it were me and some drunk fucktard threw a drink at my face when he's 8 feet away, I would go beat his ass.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS! |

I read the dude who got attacked is going to press charges and was talking like a kid during Christmas time. Having a shot to get cash off millionaires? I'm sure a lot of fans would be waiting in line to get smacked. It's going to be sad for Indiana. 3 of their top players will be sitting for a long long time. This is pretty huge controversy. There's going to be a lot of people who are going to get a lot of flack in the next days. Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, Ben Wallace, Piston fans, the arena's security, ESPN, and commisioner David Stern. |

Reminds me of a North Stars/ Boston Bruins game many years ago in which a fight broke out. which carried over to the audience. I believe it still holds the most penalty minutes ever assessed. I remember watching a local beat one of the Bruins over the head with a heeled shoe after he was antagonized by the crowd at the old Met Center, which is now part of the Mall of America complex. Those Bruins had it coming, in some ways they were like the Philly Flyers of the day; brutal, and we gave back. I am proud of our team which became the Dallas Stars, they had grit.

Most likely, Ron Artest, Stephen Jackson, and Jermaine O'Neil will be suspended for the rest of the season. At least Artest & Jackson. Ben Wallace will probably get a 10 game suspension. The fines will be hefty. Probably 100k or more. As of now, all 4 players are suspended indefinitely until they review it. I'm sure a lot of changes will happen at that arena also. More security, ban of alcohol after a certain period, and the limit of court side seats. It was really a sad day in the NBA and sports in general. At least none of the players involved are in my fantasy team  I even picked up Austin Croshere since he'll be having a lot of playing time and a bigger role on the team now that 3 of Indiana's top players are out. |

Crazy...it doesn't just happen over here either. There's something about large sports gatherings...or any large gatherings for that matter. Seems like one player there just had something snap, like he was itching to stomp someone. The fan probably would have had to pay a fee, but now... _____________________

They should be suspended for the rest of the year, w/o pay as well. Sounds like some of them are already suspended, but I didn't hear whether it was w/o pay. Not much of a punishment if they continue to get paid.
