Today has been the suckiest day I have ever had in a long time.

First: Darwin converts.

Second: Daemoneth almost quits SL! (Ok, this one I know is a joke, but it thuroughly freaked me out)

Third: Nexcorp is selling Gibson.

Fourth: Wednesday and Dave, probably the two coolest people I know, are fighting in General Discussion forum!

Fifth: I just discovered that I have been spelling probably wrong my entire life!

:sigh:

If Jesus were in your shoes, he would sacrifice himself for the sins you have commited in your mispellings.

Jesus loves those who save themselves.

Jesus also loves those who upgrade, backup and spellcheck themselves too.

At first I got excited, but then I realized I misread that as "backflip".

Yeah... I try to get into April Fools. Never play jokes on anyone, and basically try to steer clear myself. But I can't be so harsh as to not laugh or say "ya got me!" when someone does. But April Fools Day always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Mainly because when I was 9 years old, my "dad" and a friend of his played the most cruel joke on my family. He had his friend call my mom and say that my dad had died in a car wreck. And then he did not show up till the next day. The ruse was that he was so badly damaged, that my mother couldn't go to identify him till the next day. Anyway, it was a pretty sick joke, even for my "dad", and a horrible day and night. So, the holiday just isn't as fun for me as it is for some. :p

All kidding aside... I understand completely. You see, April 1 is the anniversary of my own dad's death in a car crash. I was very young - much too young to remember - but in general the "April Fool" stuff didn't go over too well with my family...

I like the idea of April Fools Day, but I rarely partake in it. I learned my lesson when I was about 10 and I put Saran Wrap on my mom's toilet (over the basin, but under the seat). She didn't speak to me for the entire day. Ugh.

Pendari,

That is terrible! It's difficult sometimes to credit the awful things that people do. :(

Do you mean, you have been spelling "probably" wrong your entire life, or that you have been probably spelling wrong your entire life? ;)

Ah, "probably" specificly :)

I had previously thought it was spelled "probobly". the middle syllable, "bab" apparently confused my sence of spelling, I had thought "bob" fit the pronunciation of "probably" better.

I do the same thing with another word (can't remember atm) about the same length. The sad thing is, I try hard to spell it right each time (because I know I screw it up), but I STILL get it wrong after I look it up (for the 50th time). That's at least as bad as your 'probably' errors...

(Well, it prablably is...)

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

The middle symbol is NOT 'bab' it's 'ab', breakdown of syllables is: pob-ab-ly. So you been breaking down the syllables wrong your entire life too. :D
