Tonight I noticed about 5 avs who did not show up on my mini map. I checked with another player, just arrived at Waterhead, and she confirmed same.
I hovered close to some of them, and tried to chat, but nobody home! The eyes were blinking, body was swaying, but that's all. This is very wierd! I checked profile on one of the avs, turned out to be a senior resident with oodles of points. just wondering No noticable harm done, but unsettling.  |

Yep. It happens. It just means your client missed (or was never sent) updated info about that avatar's having moved on/logged out/changed sims.

OK, here's my question. It's happened before, and it happened again last night: The top half of my body - and of other people's bodies - suddenly detaches and connects upside down to the bottom half of the body at the waist (or something like that). Then, after a moment, flips back up. Very disconcerting. This happen to other people?

I have, however, seen it happen to other people. |

Kinda like having your head pushed into your butt. EEwww!!  Bad part was I was trying to impress a visitor in RL with SL demo. Bad Timing. Jillian- that eases my mind some. ty 2 Questions: 1- Can I force client update or something? (It's still happening- "I see dead people"  2- I've spent most of my money on your cool stuff... how can I get a Jillian shirt? (I'm tired of wearing Cubey's free shirt)  |

However, a relog does the trick... bit like swatting flies with a Caddilac, but it does work. 2- I've spent most of my money on your cool stuff... how can I get a Jillian shirt?
