Does this mean there are kids in SL?

I read this article and wondered where the kids are?
Hopefully in a separate grid?

Yes I saw that article too and wondered the same, though I cannot imagine that they would allow children who have been abused to be part of the adult grid, this risk would be enormous. So perhaps this is the separate grid that Robin mentioned?

I also found the business class challenges to create a business in SL interesting. Wonder if it will have an impact on the SL economy?

SL Kids is a different grid, you have to prove you are under 18, and once you are over 18 you are moved to the adult grid (where we are now)..

I understand the kid grid is testing now, and not fully open to the public..

But yes kids are in SL, but a grid that does not interact with the main grid in anyway.

Has anyone asked Gwyneth? I could ask her I suppose ....

Michael: I was under the impression that the Kid Grid wasn't up yet. Have you heard otherwise?

They could be on a private island....there have been a few private islands over the past year not shown on the grid that have been used by proffesionals in various areas.
