Open forum auction

What forum is the correct one for placing an SL product I have developed up for auction to the general public? Also, are there any rules I should consider for auctioning somthing off in these forums such as a time limit? How long should that time limit be? Can I have a hidden minimum auction price, or do I need to make that public knowledge? I'm looking for advice on what is best practice for such a thing. I want to keep it simple. Any help is greatly appreciated

I believe you can do this on SLExchange (http://slexchange.com/) and you may also be able to do it on eBay.

I don't know if you can do it in the forums. At any rate, I wager you'd have better luck on either of those sites, as I get the feeling most of the activity here is not buying and selling, but blabbing and talking. (And I do not use any of those terms pejoratively, let's be clear.)

I won't touch SLExchange right now with a 10 foot pole! I think this can be done here, and possibly in the "New Products" section, but I just want to get feedback before I go forward with this.

I'm definitely not the expert on what can and can't be done in the forums. I look forward to hearing about whatever you find out.
