For the second time my avatar has been spontaneously textured with the screenshot of my home location (displayed while logging in). The last time I ignored it, and it eventually changed for some reason. I'll probably just ignore it this time too, but has this happened to anyone else?

Yes, it's happened a bunch of times to me. I submitted a bug a couple weeks ago.

Ah, a known feature. The truth is it's much more creative looking than anything I would have done with my avatar on my own.
By strange coincidence, I just IM'ed you in-world before seeing your post, Nicola. _____________________

This is a known bug. You can easily fix it by going into appearance mode, making any small change to the affected items (skin, clothing items, whatever), and then resaving the items. 9 times out of 10 that'll fix it. It happens frequently on skirts.

Mine does this for a very brief moment when I change into a specific avatar, but then the texture goes back to normal.

How about this one?

This was in 1.1 Preview and while it could have been a program glitch it was also suffering from a slightly to advanced GPU overclock at the time
