 I asked my boss off for Festivus (Dec. 23rd until I'm pinned down by a family member, which could be a few days at the least), and the rotund buttlick that is my boss said "NO"...he said it wasn't a real holiday. I'm thinking about some sort of action since my beliefs have obviously been trampled on.At the very least he will now be the object of my airing of grievances, once I get the pole up, the sum'bich.... _____________________

Heheh!! I have a Festivus pole set up at Eucalyptus Grove. Nothing distracting, just the pole. =)

Do you have an HR department at your company? You might inquire with your HR rep regarding company policy pertaining to religious or cultural holidays. Although laws vary by state, employers are generally not under any obligation to recognize religious holidays.

Well, I for one love my boss! he is cool and when i screw up he comes down with the hammer.. which is expected.. bosses should come down with the hammer when you do wrong. And trust me your festivies missing isnt that bad. I havent been home for x mas in over two years. I ate eggs by myself for thanksgiving and guess what... my only complain about is i had no pepper to put on my eggs. gotta do what ya gotta do.

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS! |

My boss gave me my Christmas vacation, but is making me come back home on the Thursday after Christmas, so I can work that one single day of that week. My boss isn't all that bright. Oh, and I couldn't leave until Christmas Eve as well. Nice, nice people. The one time of year I see my family...
