Another company, talktoaliens.com, offers a similar service but with an added twist: users can send a text message or they can dial a phone number and have their voices beamed live into space via a custom designed parabolic dish antenna dubbed the "Intergalactic Transmitter". The service has been available since March 7, and the antenna is operational 24-hours a day.

hahaahh this could get interesting. I think humans were starting to run out of new ideas for Kink, anyway.

It would be fascinating to hear some of the messages people are having broadcast. I also wonder if the money paid for the service goes straight into the company's pocket with nothing but a snicker.
How would one verify in this case that they are actually recieving the service?

i dunno. i guess when they come to raze our cities, squish our kitties, and burn our retinas to crust with thier lazer beams, we'll know if its ok to dislike them categorically or not.

Time for the tinfoil hats!

Mine teleports and walks through walls.

I'll get home at night and look all over for him, for like an hour, and suddenly, I'll turn around and discover that he has just teleported in and is standing behind me, watching me try to find him with a very amused look on his face.

When I am preparing his dinner I'll look up and suddenly he appears in the kitchen and he *had* to have walked through the wall from the living room because I never saw him walk through the door way!

He disappears too .... I'm sure that he's visiting the mothership when he's gone.

He holds conferences with other aliens in my living room when I'm not home too. I know this because one day I came home unexpectedly and found him, his sister and two other cats in the middle of the living room carpet. They had removed the lid from the plastic container of cosmic catnip and were rolling around in a big pile of it.

He stares at me a lot too. He watches everything I do in SL. I think he has an alt on my credit card that he logs in with when I'm not home. He gets letters, cards and bears from the Lindens.

He may even be a member of the FIC.
