You look at all kinds of everyday objects and wonder how many prims it must've taken to build.

Seriously, I do this all the time! Not only that, but I notice what would be classed as less "prim friendly" builds and think about how they could be made more efficient. Does anyone else do it or am I just weird?

(I think I know what's coming :D)

Other stories welcome...

I have a formal outfit in SL, and all it needs to be complete is a black stick with a silver handle. The other day I was in town (in real life!) and saw a stick of that kind in a shop window, and almost entered the shop to buy it before I realised.

- You search your yard for the ban option for keeping the in-laws from visiting.

And for the M sim people:

- When you sit on a box and try to find a new sexual position with your SO. "Honey, lets tilt it 90 degrees and see if that works".

I do that Del, I also think what would need to be done in scripting to achieve something. Especialy with particles, when it was snowing I watched the snow to see how and/or what I would want to change to make mine look more realistic. :D

Its fun to look at a cloud in the sky and go "I could do that."

A couple weeks ago I was waiting in line at a store to return a monitor when I saw a table stacked with something, I couldn't quite figure out what. "No problem," I thought, "I'll just zoom in and orbit the camera around it."

I hadn't been in-world for more than a couple weeks.

Would be cool if I could really do that, though.

I was driving to the bank, when i saw a house with a huge Christmas display. This was 2 weeks before Thanksgiving. I am a firm beleiver that Xmas stuff shouldn't go up till at least the day after Thanksgiving. I was so pissed off, that I reached down to the side of my steering wheel for my mouse so I could neg rate the culprit. Of course, I don't have a mouse in my car. Or a computer.

BTW

WTF is C3PO supposed to be USEFUL for anyway, besides whining? Stupid piece of scrap metal would be more useful recycled as a toaster. But even that would suck, because who would want to listen to a whining wussy toaster? Is he gold plated? If that's the case he should just be melted down into gold ingots. Help the economy some, and stop being so damn useless you stupid bucket of bolts! R2 is 1,000 times more useful than your tin man ass, and he's shaped like a salt and pepper shaker FFS!

I was driving to somewhere to get lunch, when I saw about a hundred 8.5x11 sheets of paper were scattered all over the highway and in the grass. Someone must have just lost them, as they were still floating around like a bunch of leaves.

Anyway, about an hour later, on my way back to work, they were all gone!

My first thought: Must have been temorary_on_rez.

heeheheh the other morning i was putting on my shirt and noticed a small rip in it- 6 months ago i would have tossed it aside thinking "that will only take a minute to stitch up"...
except this time the first thing that came to mind was "feh, couple clicks of the clone stamp will fix that."

and i never shop for clothes to wear anymore. i try, but just end up looking at garments trying to figure out how they could be best reconstructed in SL.

:p

...when you attend a business meeting and you're looking above the people's heads to find the names of those familiar to you in the crowd.
