I have like no clue here about who to go to outside of Live365. We want to be able to stream out of Umber and dj. I'm well aware of the major limit on listeners when you do it yourself for free through shoutcast or live365. Live365 is way expensive for this and I was hoping someone would have some info on who else I could go through. If this is the wrong forum sorry! It's not really a service or an employee request deal so I didn't post in classifieds. I know it doesnt belong in general so I stuck it here, sue me! lol

WRONG FORUM TROLL! GET OUT!!!

j/k ;)

Tor, hiya and jolly day to you. Hope you had a good sleep after your bday. :)

As for audio stream hosting, there are a few of options I know offhand. There are surely more but here's what came to mind, you might wanna look into this:

http://www.slstream.com
by Aaron Levy
There's a nice set of instructions there.

and

http://www.r3cords.com/
by Jamie Otis and Boueg Bergman
I haven't heard from them in awhile but they do mention streaming services on the site.

There are some other names I'd get in touch with as to inquire for further details: Ice Brodie and Hudson Striker also provide hosting servers, I believe. If I've left anyone out, and I'm sure I have, please post more info here so Torrid knows! :)

Hiya, Torrid. Also, you can talk with Hudson Stryker. We've used him and his servers are stable. His site is http://www.ketnar.org His services have always been reliable and dependable and if there have been any issues, he's been great with the customer service aspect of it all.

Hope this helps. :)
