Happy Friday, all  And just in time. This has been The Week From Hell. Some of us in the US have a 3-day weekend coming up...not much by Euro holiday standards, from what I hear, but hey, you take what you can get.  Hope everybody has a great weekend, with or without the Star Wars flick. (Mine will be with.) -- jj |

In the US, the occasion is Memorial Day. In between whatever else you've got planned for the long weekend, regardless of your political leanings, spare some moments to give thanks to the men and women who have fallen on behalf of liberty.

We're having "Sport Bike" week here (my term...most call it Black Bike week or Atlantic Beach Black Biker week, which is stupid since it's a mixed ethnicity crowd)...which means I get to hear the annoying whine of 100,000 sport bikes doing 75mph wheelies in front of my house! Yippie! One caveat, though, is the abundance of chicks wearing thongs on the bikes...so its not all that bad, I guess.
