Preview Grid

Um what is the deal with the preview grid? I tried and tride to get in, it wouldn't let me. I read in another post that you can only access the grid if you were born before a certain date. Is this true? I would think LL would have had the deceny to amend this given the number of people who cannot get on.

It may not be true, in which case I mustask the very new question of how do I get on the preview grid?

The user database snapshot is from mid-February. I just learned that we can't update this snapshot easily, so if you were "born" after mid-February this year, you won't be able to log in to the preview grid. I'm sorry, but there's no simple way to rectify this.

It is true, and there is not much that you can do about it. When they establish the Preview grid, they use a snapshot of users at the beginning of development. Users who have joined since that snapshot are not present, and so can't access the Preview grid. Those who can access the grid have the inventories which they had when the snapshot was taken. Constantly updating the grid with the newest users and all of their inventory would waste time and resources.

Ah the FIC has spoken. No Noobies on the preview grid, so all the TEKKI WIKKI ELITE can have thier FIC party while the rest of us can't log on. Conspiracy theory indeed.
