That'd be cool if I was on the same page as all my neighbors, but I'm not interested in buddying up with "Mrs. Spinning For Sale Cube Buy 1500+- Square Meters for 30k." hehe If anything I'd like to cut her cable wires.

Stormy, perhaps if you had a group you could get a petition going to lobby the individual not to clutter up your sim with that kind of pixel-garbage.

We have a group in Taber also, for all land owners as well as tenants. We started it back in October of 2003 if my memory serves.

Living Cities is a group of people developing a liveable city. We own 1.5 sims, and use the group to manage it all!

slate land holders represents the people who have allocation in the group that owns eighty percent of that sim; and the codas group own eighty-six percent of zoe so i guess that kind of counts as a sim group too.

I thought the Slate group had over 95% of the sim? I still have my unaffilliated 16m2 there. ![]() _____________________

Chaos has a sim group.... Ferran and i meet regularly over a cup of coffee while checking for overnight havoc. I lobby for less weapons testing in sim. She tells me less trees. I don't think a petition would help.

I think the majority of neighborhood communities opted for island sims so they could have more control over their holdings, I see a lot of cummunity living in the islands now, Mainland is too ecclectic I think, many like minded individuals have gathered together and moved to the suburbs for whatever reason they have to be together.
Just visit any 5 random islands and you can see they are gathered together for a common purpose, even if that purpose is as simple as living with their friends. I think Islands have been the evolution of mainland communities of last year. |

A lot of the island sims are beautiful and I often think about how wonderful it would be to live in one. But I prefer being on the grid for some reason, maybe because it's more of a challenge trying to work with the surroundings and builds that already exist to make the area look good. I also enjoy the random zaniness that happens on the grid and the flow of people flying around, shooting at me.
