Events have been a great way to meet new people and in some cases make some cash! Looking for some feedback on events. What kind of events do you like? Which events are you tired of? What kind of events have you not seen yet but would like to?

As soon as I get an upgraded system and can handle large crowds, I was thinking on setting up a gossip corner event..

Such as where everyone that has been abducted by aliens, shot across sims in a mysterious sudden event, hear of stories and want to relay them to more people, or just want to gossip yourself you can all come and join the gossip study

I know that Mixers do this often... and even the Second Life Stories... but has there ever been discussion of an event where it is specifically themed to show particular objects off and win prizes for that?

For instance... say we have a "Robotic Show and Tell" Contest. It's announced a few days or so prior to the event, and then at the event, people would go up on stage and explain their "robotic" creation and cast votes at the end or whatever.... play on it from there as you like, but you get the idea.

Build robots, then set them against each other to KILL!

Sign me up for the Battle Bots game... Probably should set some rules though...

Personally would like to see non-user aided robot battles also. Allow some AI scripts....

Name That Baby Linden!

Get a scanned baby pic from each Linden, put 'em up in world, and have residents guess which baby grew up into which Linden

How about a contest to rename the new sims? I don't know about anyone else but the colour names seem a bit bland to me.
