according to the front page, we should be welcoming our newest member: temp Svarog

one problem, he joined back on the 7th.. does that truly mean there have been NO new joins since the 7th???

i also think that if a player cancels their account, should that name not be erased from being an active community member?

you may ask how i would mention the whole cancelled account thing.. it's simple, i created that character in order to get some pics from Orientation Island, and a couple at the welcome area.
..after taking said pics, i promptly cancelled the account.

i'm still a bit boggled.. four days and absolutely nobody new has joined? not even as much as one alt has been created..

weird.

(here's another good opportunity for me to offer a shameless plug for the new MySpace group: Second Space.. for SLers to to share pics and info. it's basically turning out to be a "get to know each other and figure out how to best spread the word of SL". i'll be adding a link to the group page in my sig here.. later today.)

Hmmm, funny you mention this, Cybin -- I just met a whole lotta newbies who joined... TODAY! And yes, their join date is Feb. 10 and 11.

I been hanging around in Ahern the last couple of days. There is still a steady flow of new arrivals, the forums have just not updated.

are you also showing "temp Svarog" as the newest member?

did i break the new member updating device? ..lol

it is odd, might be something one of the web-heads needs to check out..

Yes, I see him as newest member on my page too.

Its hard to judge the rate people arrive, it can vary greatly. Its also hard standing around Ahern for very long. But, in any 30 minute time frame, you are likely to see anywhere from 2 - 15 people born today or yesterday.

Maybe it's the newest member to the forums. Not all SLers come here.

These are our children. We must raise them well. :)

You who are on the road
Must have a code that you can live by
And so become yourself
Because the past is just a good-bye.
Teach your children well,
Their father's hell did slowly go by,
And feed them on your dreams
The one they picks, the one you'll know by.
Don't you ever ask them why, if they told you, you will cry,
So just look at them and sigh
and know they love you.

Looks like roughly 75 people sign up a day average. How things have changed, it was sort of a big day when I signed up, three others joined same day as me.
