Snow Globe Memorial

The Snow globe Memorial is finished. Please feel free to come by and pick up and personalize a snow globe for a lost love one. You can find the snow globes at the memorial entrance at Plum 100, 160. Everyone is encouraged to participate and experience the memorial. The memorial will be open until January 6th. If you have any questions please instant message Fleabite Beach or me.

I would like to say something on personal level. On mine and my wife’s behalf I would like to thank Fleabite Beach for building this beautiful memorial and to the Lindens for providing us with the land on which to build it. Words cannot express how thankful we are. Your contributions have allowed Paris and hopefully many others to utilize SL as a medium for healthy healing during the various stages associated with losing a loved one. And that is a tremendous gift. I really hope people will take the time to experience the love that is the responsible for this project.

Oh yes I also need to thank Lance LeFey, thank you Lance for your time. And a huge thank you to the Cartel. Thank you for your support during this surreal and crazed time in our lives. You are REAL family to us! This memorial is presented to SL on behalf of Paris and the Cartel de Juarez. One love to la familia. One love to Second Life.

I have visited many times already to watch cat sis Flea build this, and now that the structure is complete and the personal contributions will be added, I look forward to seeing how we, through technology, pay our respects and honor our departed loved ones. It will definitely be emotional and irrational at times -- and I mean this in the best of ways, since that, to me, is part of the wonder of *being*. Expression comes forth.

Thanks to Paris, Darko, Flea, the Lindens and the Cartel for making this happen. Flea's build is both grand and subtle, which is a hard mix to pull off. It's perfect.

I tried to make a memorial this weekend, but when I clicked the big message by the fire, it did not do anything. The one by the water just directed me to the big one by the fire.

I would like to give a big special thanks to Flea....you are a beautiful person. You have made this memorial so special and I love you for that. I don't even know where to begin to thank you. Love you Flea baby!!

Oh yeah and I would also like to thank my beautiful husband for being there for me through this hard and depressing time. You are my pillar of strength. Love you baby!!

I stopped by the memorial yesterday evening and saw that there have been more snowglobes added. They are all so beautiful. I really liked the one with the card inside. I love them all. We will have the memorial until the 6th so anyone who would like to do a snowglobe plz fell free to come out and visit.

My Gram passed on the 30th after a stroke and several weeks of failing health. So it's been very valuable for me to have this project to work on and then participate in. Simply researching RL memorials and their function was cathartic. Many Thanks and Big Big Hugs to Darko and Paris who made the memorial happen. One Love.

awww Flea I'm so sorry, Hugs !! I know this hurt as my Nana passed in March. She is in memoriam at this wonderful project.
