Apologies about the big trees eating up the Morris Sandbox

If anyone was in the Morris Sandbox from like... er... 7 AM to just recently, I apologize for taking up all the prims. What happened was I was playing around with the big trees (created amazingly by Fleabite Beach) that have an 400-odd-prim usage each. They look beautiful and I recommend seeing some of them in various places around the gridverse, including by The Level in Barcola, at Luskwood, and especially the Memorial for lost loved ones Flea is building in PLUM -- the one Paris has posted a thread about before. :)

Anyhoo, I was having a problem rezzing the trees yesterday. I tried to rez one, and it didn't appear. Then I tried again. And again. And again. FINALLY some appeared on the ground. I took some photos for my personal usage, and then I deleted all the trees I saw. Operative word is "saw". Little did I know, some of the trees, for whatever reason, decided to materialize *later* (asset server lag glitch -- I had previously encountered one earlier that night while trying to rez a special object from Lash) and become airborne. They were stuck many meters in the air! Flying trees? Eeeps!

Thanks to SuezanneC for rousing me from my sleep and making me aware of this fact. I quickly rushed to the site to find Jack Linden perusing the site... quickly, I camscanned, reached out with my mouse-selections and Delete keyclicks, and all was well again. I hope!

Sorry about any inconvenience I have caused. :D

(I AM NOT GREEFER KIN)

Torley, that's what sandboxes are for. Now that there is more than just Cordova you have no excuses for not crashing a sandbox....

I think every mad scientist is required to bring down a sandbox at least once... bonus points if it's down for more than 3 hours...

Didn't mean to wake you up Torley

I didn't even know I could wake you up by sending an instant message, Torley. I sure feel bad bugging people about stuff like that. I was glad when I saw they belonged to Torley, I at least felt safe from pushgun retaliation for being a nag.

*grins softly*

Changeling: most excellent, no worries and thankyouverymuch in advance :)

Ano: a fixed smiley is better than a broken one, that's what I always say ;)

Lordfly: trees are made by Fleabite Beach, mah cat sista. You can see them at several locations, included the ones I listed above.

Ferran: I crashed Spittoonie repeatedly (torus deep think involving bumper cars, another incident involving golf carts, one time in a Hammerhead, etc.), but I guess that's another bag o' chips. Or is that cream of wheat? Or kettle of fish? Or can of worms? Something like that, anyway.

SuezanneC: I have an email filter that does the DING! thing to cue me when an IM gets passed onto my email box and I am offline on SL. *smiles* Awwws at your last sentence... you are gracious to help out, and I do not consider it nagging. :D
