At about 12:50pm the moon turned blue then vanished for a bit when it came back it was white again. Anyone else see it or anything else like it before?
I was able to get a quick snapshot.

Yeah the moon has a bunch of colors.

The moon turned blue last night. I got some pictures. It was blue for a short while, then went aqua for an even shorter while before going back to white. So pretty! Here are some pics.

This was all me...
I have a large 50% transparent blue tinged hat that I wear sometimes. This is complicated by the fact that I often sneak up on people and stand in front of them and don’t really announce myself. I was also responsible for: "the blue people of aqua!" thread and the technical support thread: "OMG, my ceiling turned blue when this guy with a funny hat walked by" |

I don't want to burst anyone's bubble, but I believe the oddly colored moon sightings are due to an artifact of 3d rendering. I have seen the moon in blue, aqua, green, red, and yellow.

Yeah - the moon does go blue occasionally for sure. usually just about at the peak of its arc, and usually for less than a minute, so that every time I say 'ooh. there's a blue moon, see!?' by the time my companions have turned round to look its gone again
