Worm? What worm? Is it one of those email things, I haven't used outlook for a century. The media put out some horror stories last night to the effect of "zOMG, the evil h4xx0rz made a worm that targetted Windows 2000! The sky is falling!" Basically, Microsoft released security vulnerability notes before they had plans to patch the problem themselves. Several companies were affected, including CNN and Capital Hill. Of course, the worm involved realistically wasn't so bad from how it came off to me on the TV, basically forcing computers into a perpetual shutdown loop. It's since been patched. The story was the usual FUD to be expected. "This is the closest to a zero day attack we've ever had, blah blah blah." Realistically, not much happened. Honestly, if you plan to run Windows as a large corporate industry, learning to deal with these things is par for the course. Definitely not newsworthy... unless the news companies are affected. Sad. _____________________
