I couldn't help but think about the giant Linden made toilets when I saw this...
Diew, a five year-old Thai elephant, demonstrates how to use and flush a toilet at an elephant camp in Chiang Mai province, in northern Thailand. Having taught Thailand's elephants to paint, dance and play musical instruments, their Thai handlers are now toilet-training the beasts, media reported.(AFP)

There were a couple setting on an island near my land in Furu last week, rolls of toilet paper on them and all. Puts a whole new meaning to public facilities.

Briarcliff Manor, when you port in, also has a lavatory. While not Linden-made, it's suitably filthy and made me laugh so hard when I walked out of it into the fresh air, nearing the SLAC. Those Thai people have a lot of uses for elephants. Including, er, some unfortunate political executions, but I'll just stay off of that for now.  If Dumbo could only be so happy...  |
