Now, i'm not sure who this was, or how it was accomplished (perhaps an object giving inventory by keys and just going through a long list of keys?)
Needless to say, I did not know the person, and I certainly did not want to receive this texture from him. More importantly, I definitely did not care to see the 'content' of this texture.
It seems to me, that we have basically implemented pop-ups by putting this feature in. I don't know about the rest of you, but I find this to be a "very bad thing". I much preferred the accept & open/accept/decline choice. It was bad enough flying past automated notecard-giving advertisements that gave inventory on sensor, but now I actually have to see the contents of this too?
How about a toggle for this feature? Or even better:
How about some options on it.
Auto-decline/Auto-accept/Prompt/Prompt with preview notecards/textures from players you have no calling card for.
Auto-decline/Auto-accept/Prompt/Prompt with preview notecards/textures from players who's calling card you do have.
Auto-decline/Auto-accept/Prompt/Prompt with preview notecards/textures from objects you own
Auto-decline/Auto-accept/Prompt/Prompt with preview notecards/textures from objects you do not own.
You get the general idea
