Good question. What kind of av are you looking for exactly?

If it's mecha you're looking for, visit ARMORD in Miramare.

Well, you could go to Little...er, no, wait. Or you could go to...no, that's gone.
Do you have a particular character in mind? I've found that some of the best anime character (or any recreation, really) avatars are made by people who make them for the fun of it, or to show off, and often don't consider setting up shop to be worth the trouble. Perhaps if people perceive a demand we'll see more "costume shops." And it's already mid-October...

im looking for anime shops with popular anime characters (Armord has mechs but there not based on any anime). Mostly, i see anime avatars on people that they make themselves, but i've been searching for a store.

Second Life Anime Cosplay is the best source for avatar stuff I have seen in SL...
I suggest if you are interested in this genre of items then you visit it. It is a shop in Briarcliff Manor. I've seen tons of awesome av's there, and some really cheap prices. Check it out!

Meh, I might get into avatar clothing (mostly attachments, since I cant texture). Contact me and I might have something for you (not anime releated however, mostly cyber-punk).

Ryen, do you know of where to get good mirrorshades -- one of the ultimately stereotypical cyberpunk fashion accessories? Preferably, tinted ones in a variety of spectrum gradients?

I picked up the new Vash the Stampede from Anime Cosplay on Briarcliff last night. The detailing is amazing.
Since I've never sold Thing Number One in SL, it's easy for me to call plays in from the cheap seats, but IMHO this avatar is incredibly underpriced, given the amount of work and talent that went into it.
Get 'em while they're hot!

Suggie Liu has two at Petals and Thorns - very nicely done. Unfortunately, I don't know the characters because I am not into anime. (sorry)...might be worth checking out?

Thanks, but the store only had Yuna and Lulu from Final Fantasy, they were pretty good though.
