- slam into something sideways on the way down? who cares
- chute fails and you hit terminal velocity on the way down? doesn't matter
- recovery time: 2 seconds

Huns. How the hell did you find that link?

that made my stomach turn.

I'll edit this to tell people this is REALLY something you dont want to see. I feel ill, and I only saw enough to realise what was going on...

OMG - Is that his brains on the rock? That's really disturbing.

Some things are just better done in SL.

"Brains?" "On the rock?"

Sounds like this wasn't a flash cartoon. Now I'm kinda glad my machine wouldn't play it....

that's quite a cautionary film...however, I doubt it's real.

for those who can't view the film (or don't want to):

It's a POV bungee/free base/climb from a dam-
Falling
Random shots of rope
Pause?
Cutting/snapping of rope/chute cords?
impact on rocks
wandering around rocks
much moaning insues
farway shot of something that appears to be brains? helmet? on rocks
then artful camera framing of "victim" as he stumbles and lies on the ground
he makes cell phone call
Then he appears to pass out
cut away shot to him in hospital bed

Notice how the camera almost always seems to have him in frame? hmmm...
Who worries about the camera in that kind of situation? Seems a trifle lucky..

Pretty disturbing nonetheless.
