I'm registered a-plenty at both ebay and paypal, except I don't have a premium membership in Paypal so I don't have a credit card attached to it. I'm wondering, basically, if it's possible to pay for Ebay items using the money that's in the Paypal account? This question might sound pretty silly, but this is all grown-up stuff to me and I've still a lot of learning to do, hehehe. Dae

When you win an Ebay auction and use paypal as your payment you are given the choice at the paypal website where the funds will come from. You can have the funds already in your paypal account, transfer them in from a checking account, or use a credit card to add the funds.
If you do not have a credit card linked to your paypal account you still have the other two options.
Hope that answered your question.

Yeah you can...
But as an ebay seller - I was more watchful of PayPal payee's who did not have a cc onfile with payPal..
So your eBay rating will be important Daem...

Thanks, Merwin. I have errr four good ratings so far, no negatives, from when I bought things like two years ago (though a friend of mine set up the whole thing so all I did was tell him what I wanted. ) I might not have enough positive ratings right now, but I'll build them up over time I'm sure. Thank you for hte information, that was very helpful!
