Me and a group of people are makes a game called Curse Of The Burning Sea it is based on the 1800's navy warfar and many other things you can be pirates, britsh or frensh more info on the game later but rightow we are looking for some voliteers to help build and script if u are a builder or a scripter and want to make this game with us IM me or post here we been working on this for about 3 weeks now so come on and join us.

"User-created content takes the idea of leveraging player opinions a step further by allowing them to effectively prototype new ideas and features. Developers can then measure which new concepts most improve the products and incorporate them into the game in future patches."

You can tell by the quality of this post that pretty much everyone involved has no idea how to script or build and that their idea of "working on it" is looking for people to make the damn thing for them.

Woot! Damn that sounds great. One of the first computer games I ever played was Pirates, for the C=64, and I so loved that game.

If you bumped it back a few decades and added Spain and Dutch to the ship and ports list, it would be perfect.

we are going ot add spanish after we get it started right now we need help with makeing a HP system for the people and the ships we can make it with the people that we got now but it will take alot longer if any one you know how to do that stuff IM me or post here saying that you will help

I'd offer help, but I'm a n00b when it comes to creating things in SL... and besides it doesn't fit my current avatar's interests or lifestyle. If you want a hard-ass critic of authentic 18th century ship design drop me a line though. Be warned, you'll get very tired of hearing about your futtocks being too big and your spars too short

It brought back lots of memories and it is still as much fun as it used to be!
