Hi and Happy New year to you TOO! Hope you enjoyed my homestate! Hahaha!!

I'm in New Yawk too! I just got back from my vacation in sunny Florida! Jeez, after being in that heat and now being in the cold, I'm tempted to move back to Florida.

Of course, then I remind myself about the great bagels and pizza we have here, all my friends I have here, the fact that we get to see some cool movies first (along with LA), the fact that I already have a house and job here...

Still, I want heat!

I'm having a great time up here! Today was the first day it has actually snowed while we have been here (there was some left over snow when we got here on Tuesday, but it was mostly ice by then). My mother just moved up here two months ago, so I'm sure we will be back often. Would love to learn to snow ski myself. Having been born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia (where I still live), I can say that it is A LOT different weather wise up here. Not sure I could live here, but it is going to be a great vacation spot!

Hey Pen Pen (where did I hear that name from...?), are you "connected" enough to find me someone with the time and ability to work on a small jacket/shirt custom av project?

hehe.. Launa started calling me PenPen and it seems to be catching.

I don't know if I'm connected or not.. hehe.. but I know a lot of great designers. Are you looking for a full new avatar look plus clothing? or just clothing?

Shadow Weaver, Fey Brightwillow, and Thai Greenacre all create excellent clothing for men. I think Beryl Greenacre and Chip Midnight do as well (though I've only really seen their female clothing line).

Kris Ritter and Arito (can't remember if that is how you spell the first and not sure of last name - its like just gone out of my head *blush*) are both fabulous at creating custom avatars. Not sure about if they do clothing as well though.

Of course, Nala is a big pink dragon avatar (created by Arito I believe), and then she wears clothing that I've made. hehe.. So you could always get the different parts from various people.

There are also a lot more great designers out there. I'm sure someone else could mention more. I can't wait to start doing fashion shows for the various designers so I can have a nice list to refer people to.

Beryl focues on female mostly, and I'm betting she has a list of TODOs already. I've already talked to Arito Cotton, but he doesn't feel he'd be able to do the job up to his standards. (I think I prefer more of a realistic texture approach as opposed to a fantasy-ish theme.)

All I need really is a jacket/shirt, I can handle the rest. (including any attachments needed)

This is what I'd like....I can do the 3D attachment aspects such as the collar and belt pouch, but that's not really that important. I'd need the textures that were used, of course.)

Really I just want the basic look in that picture, any fancy add ons can come later.

If a jacket and shirt are all you need, then I would say definitely talk with either Shadow Weaver or Thai Greenacre. They may be able to help in that aspect.

But, if you are wanting your AV to have the whole Anime look of that character, I would say talk with Kris Ritter. Her custom AVs are really good and even if she feels she cannot do it, she may know of someone else.

I guess I'm still just confused as to whether you just want the outfit and accessories from that picture you posted, or if you are wanting to put on a full custom AV that looks just like the guy in that picture. I hope that made sense. hehe

Well, my av is really about 80% like that character right now. The only things missing are the jacket/shirt and other minor touches I can handle without uploading 40 textures. Anyway, thanks for the references, "PenPen".

Oh, now I remember where I heard that name before....it's from an anime show called Neon Genesis Evangelion, which I basically hate very much. (Even though for some reason it's pretty popular?)

As for the Fashion Shows, YES! I am still going to be doing them for any and all clothing or custom av designers in game. I had to sell my land in Olive and take down the event hall for it, but I have my runway in my pocket and so many wonderful people have stepped forward to let me use their land for event nights. So I'm just taking the show on the road! In a way, this will be even better as I can help a variety of people with Dwell in addition to the other great things that will come from the show itself.

I was mostly waiting till everything settled after Jan 12th to start with the events, but I'll get with you soon (hopefully this week) and go over the details. I'm very excited! And can't wait to see your new dresses!
