Ok, this post has a little to do with the economy, scripts, and technical issues, so I'm posting it here. Ok, I am a manager/owner of the bumper car exhibit in Luna, right now there are 3 people who own the exhibit. including me. I created a group so we could all share ownership of the cars equally eiasier (instead of us all having each other's mod perms, which dont allow copy permission now, something we needed). So I deeded a few cars to the group... The cars rely on being able to pay and get money to/from the owner of the car (for refunds). llGetOwner() on a group owned car returns this odd key. If I pay a car, it pays the group... ok... why didnt I get money... Im part of the group as well...... I tryed requesting debit permissions from the group, it wasnt able to do that. It has an auto-inform mechanism on it, so the car IM's the owner of it if it malfunctions... it cant IM llGetOwner(), it returns an error. If I delete the object, where does the money go? Does anyone know how this works? == Chris

First: ACK?! No debit permissions on group objects? So much for any casino or gaming groups.
Second: When someone pays I assume it goes into the group account, which gets divided among group members on tax day.
Money from a deleted object should also go into the group fund.
I really want groups to be able to hold balances (beyond 1 week), get debit permissions, and be avaiable for partnerships.
If debit permissions can be made to work then a whole lot of the control of money for groups can be handled with scripts - withdrawing, depositing, special balances/limits on specific members as well as officers etc.
Would probably also help to have a llGetGroupRank() call.
