Conservatives, neo-cons, republicans, and what have you...

Liberals, Democrats, and yadda yadda...

You can hush down your escalating acidic vitriol.

It doesn't matter which side you're on -- democracy was never meant to be a two party system. And in this modern age it matters even less wether you're a liberal or conservative. No matter what mud you can fling at eachother, the concept of governance is becoming a delusion.

Who "won" the last election?

When I say "who" I don't mean which candidate won, but for who did it benifit?

in the interest of keeping this shorter than it was -- the people didn't win. corporations did. so please try to get along better and quit making lame posts about how stupid the other side is.

I totally agree Icon. With the exception of independents, every vote cast in the last election was a vote for Skull and Bones and the corporate elite.

Yes, please, have mercy on our tired ears and quit whining about the political issues du jour.

What? And have this forum grind to a screeching halt?

You're right, Icon. Everyone is so rabid about things now. When somebody would ask me who I'm voting for, I wouldn't him them because I didn't know if the guy was going to pat me on the back or start foaming at the mouth.

I've let loose on the forums a bit, though. Most likely because I've seen some posts that actually had some thought behind them.

Anyway, I'm about done with it now. I'd much rather discuss underwater fortresses and skinning techniques any day!

IMHO...If your political beliefs are so strong ....just go out and really do something about it instead of just arguing and talking about it in the forums. People need to get off their complacent asses and go out and protest and work towards making change.

Oh, MAN! The first time I saw that... I actually grew up with Hanna Barbara reruns, so the whole chaine of toons that came from Space Ghost: Coast to Coast are incredibly funny to me. Only Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law comes anywhere close to Sealab in my book!
