... they're just rude, aren't they? I decided to go for a game of 'literati', yahoo's version of Scrabble, today. Which i haven't played in a very long time. The game started hard for me, bad letters and my opponent scored a high point word early on. Then, I got my lucky break and saw an opening to put 'dogsbody' over two 3xLetter tiles and a triple word score, plus bonus for using all my letters. Gaining a lot of points and putting me ahead of her. YOU ^$&^& CHEATER! What? UR NOT THAT GOOD STOP CHEATING< YOU CHEATER!!!!@ What are you talking about? There is no way to cheat at this game. YOU LOOKED UP THE WORD YOU CHEATED! Uh, no, I happen to know the term, don't you? **the game continues** she puts down 'dog' earning about 3 points. I put a small word down too, bad letters. SEE YOU SUCK UR NOT GOOD AT ALL!!@ by this point, I give up and just ignore her, especially seeing as she just did the same thing as me. **game continues** Well, turns out she beat me anyway, and proceeded to kick me from the table, lol. But please... I have played about 20 games ever, she had played nearly 1000!! obsess much? It doesn't end there though, my boredom still continues and compells me to try again, so this time, I just played easy, didn't take huge words... what am I met with? #(%*&Q(# HELL, I WISH SOME1 GOOD WOULD PLAY TODAY ... so I proceeded to kick his ass. *sigh* so bored.

You're not the only one. *sighs softly* The times I've gone to trivia and then been accused of "getting too many answers right". Really, what is that supposed to mean?! I suppose the English have a word for it, and that word is "slag". Oh wait... that's not the right one... I mean "BOLLOCKS"! Yeah. And pfft I was just trying to have some fun. I think it's quite dumbass to take these events too seriously -- but apparently this happens an (un)fair amount. There is, however, a certain irony to the game being called "Literati" and someone spewing AOLspeak. |

Well, aside from the standard "L'enfer, c'est les autres", all I have to say is Yahoo attracts some total wackos. Taeja and I tried to play Mah Johng once and there are some cutthroat, nasty people there if you don't know how to play. I am never playing Yahoo games again lol. Nor am I ever going back to their public chat rooms, between the sexcambots and the strange IMs from Middle Eastern countries. The internet is just freaking weird.
