That is a streach.
I used to live in Anaheim. On a clear day (once or twice a year) you could see Los Angeles on the horizon... What the hell? They used to be the California Angels, the Los Angeles Angels & Anaheim Angels. If they were going to go all out, the should have gone ALL OUT and been the:

For me its not so much about what the name is, but rather that some multi-millionaire wants to have it his way. If he wants then to be the Los Angeles Angels, move them to LA instead of pissing off Anaheim and costing them millions in court. Another spoiled rich guy who wants to spend money on stupid crap. If he really cares about LA, why doesn't he take the money he will waste on this name change and use it to help or create programs to aid less fortunate folks in East or South Central LA? I can't wait for the Minnesota Twins of Minneapolis/St Paul  _____________________
