I was thinking about this, and I thought it might be cool...

With the recent talks of writing in SL, and perhaps even SL fiction, I was pondering writing a series of short, humorous stories taking place in SL. I was thinking of a film-noir theme, with a lighter side. Any suggestions?

BTW: Charecter name suggestions welcome too. I was thinking one of the charecters should be Hollocut Tori...

I think this would be a fun idea, too.

I say we get the creative writing minds together and combine efforts to develop stories together. Some SL Fiction would be great. And then the Writing Circle plan could go as well (there could totally be different projects going on at once in the group, and why limit the group's functionality? perhaps the Writing Circle could be an organization for all creative writers in SL, and we could do a lot of things with it.)

I endorse this product and/or service.
But eh, at the same time, if the above idea is at all interesting to you, Darwin, would you want to talk in-game about it?

Maggie Miller tried a collaborative storytelling project, which she mentioned in this thread:

The first installment was very much SL noir.

I think it would be particularly interesting to see some sl fiction complete with screenshots. :)

Fan fiction and game fiction are symptoms of a deeper sickness. Seek help now. :)

I think SL already has a venue for humorous stories and outright fictional tales -

- it's called the Second Life Forums... :D
