It's the talk of the town. What will you be hearing in the future? (few courtesy of Harald, Joan, and Lynnix)

"Would you like to come dwell with me?"

"Damn dwellers are making too much noise!"

"Sorry I gotta go, I'm on dwelling rounds"

"Don't leave yet! Only 10 more seconds for you to dwell!"

"So.. your dwell or mine?"

"Dwell me like you've never dwelled me before"

"Shizzle... come dwizzle my nizzle and we'll fizzle like no other dwizzle"

"What's that Lassie? Timmy fell down the dwell?"

And the audience groaned..

*Leave it to Beaver theme song*

*Shows stereotypical 50s "togetherness" type living room, everything perfect and spiffy. A small child sneaks out the door in the background.*

Warren: Beaver?

Beaver (sulkely): Yes father?

Warren: Beaver, where do you think your going?

B: Well, I was just...

W: Yes?

B (sulks and hides face): I was going to dwell with Whitey Whitney...

W: Beaver, you know I don't want you dwelling without Wally.

B: I know...

*June steps in room*

June: Why, what seems to be the matter?

W: Beaver was trying to go dwell with Whitey.

J (puts hand on hips in 50s-eque manner and wiggles finger in scron): Awe Beaver, last time you did anything with Whitey you ended up crashing Mayfield, and we all had to relog. You knew quite well that Mr. Smith was on dial up at the time.

B: Awwkay, I'll go upstairs and play with my Pixel toy.

W: That's more like it, young man.

*In room*

Wally: Boy Beav, Mom and Dad really gave it to ya, huh?

B: I was just going to have some fun!

W: Yeah, sure. Well I gotta go get to the telehub so I can meet Eddie. We're going to go to Olive.

B: How come you guys get to go to Olive and I don't?

W: On accounta me being older than you. 'Sides, Mom doesn't trust you playing with physical objects.

B: *pouts*

Dwell worries me. I hope it works out. Dwell is one of the main things that killed TSO for me. Everyone felt like they had to stay home so others would visit and help their dwell score. It wasnt called dwell, but thats what it was, and it killed exploration for a lot and made them slaves to their homes. I love exploration and it was very sad for me to see people never leaving their homes. Its not the same game I know, but the idea of dwell does worry me.

To the tune of Yellow Submarine...

In a game called Second Life
I built a house; its really keen.
Then they added this dwell stuff,
And now no one else, do I ever see.

We all dwell in our own little house
Never somewhere else
Never somewhere else

(Yes I'm bored at work... and this popped in my head)
