Any updates to tell us about the SL Mac version? I've been in SL less and less lately, and on my Mac more and more lately. I'd really like to be able to get on from my mac. www.secondlife.com/mac says beta testing will start this Fall...now that it's fall, any more specific information you (Lindens) can tell us?

Uh, isn't the latest mac OS a flavor of linux? I haven't used a mac in 7 years, so I don't really know much about them anymore.

Mac OS X uses a Unix Core based on the OS Steve Job's old company, Next Computing, created. So it's not a Linux Core. More like a Second Cousin Colin |

I'm already coughing. Macs may be immune to most computer viruses, but I'VE caught one.
But back to Macs... I'm guessing that the 1.1 changes are now being merged into the Mac OS X Second Life code tree. How long will it take before there is a Beta that needs public testing? Only the Shadow Linden knows... _____________________
