Each week I receive L$500. In addition, I get a bonus based on my current rating, and how much it has changed over the previous week (I think?).
Can anybody tell me how this bonus is calculated?

All kidding aside, Persephone, it is based on how many ratings are given you and how many you give out. What else is factored in I am unaware of. _____________________

I think one guy you should ask about this is Daemioth Sklar -- he in fact runs a great MONEY 101 event about it (there was one just recently), and he gives very thorough, easy-to-understand explanations of the weekly stipend system. Cheerio.

I've heared like 3l for each rate and you get extra's if you can get 50 rates a week.

Everyone with a premium account and above gets $L500 base stipend.
Basic accounts (no land tier) get $L50 (as long as they log in at least once in that week). Bonuses. ----------- Bonuses are based on the ratings received. Two are available, one for Total rating and one for Weekly rating. No bonus is paid for rating GIVEN, only received. For each of the catagories, Total or Weekly, the top 2% (I think) gets L$500, down to top 10% gets L$200, and top 50% get $L75. (Someone please correct these numbers if they are wrong.. I've done this from memory) Example, there are 15,000 users and you have a premium account.. Base stipend $L500 Total rating position 1356 (within top 10%) + $L200 Weekly rating position 3208 (within top 50%) + $L75 Total stipend $L775 ---------------------------------------------------------- Example numbers given, actual amounts may be completly different but method is correct. Please remember, the price of land my go down as well as up... oh sorry, wrong ad.. _____________________

The numbers are higher than that, more like L$750 for the top 10%, it's certainly possible to get L$2000 each week if you get rated enough.

I saw somewhere that rating aliens with the last name of biggles gives you mega rewards
