The market and festival ended on Sunday after well over 300 unique names entered the fair grounds in Lime. We simply stopped counting heads on Saturday morning.
But we would like to thank everyone who made this possible -- if you attended as a vendor, or attended as a visitor. Together you made this happen. I was happy to see the holiday and festival spirit in many of the attendees; and I kept hearing over and over again about the creativity and talent of some of the vendors.
Our thanks to the vendors for showing their creativity in the booths and donating prize money for the random visitor payouts. We paid out over $5,500 in Linden $'s with the treasure hunts and your donations.
Our thanks to Nick Fairlight for his wonderful snowball battle build and game.
Our thanks to the countless friends who offered their booths for a chance to sit, talk and rest for a few minutes.
But most of all, thanks to all of you who attended, for showing that a large group of people can gather, have fun, crash a sim a few times, and enjoy a unique online experience.
With each of these events, we are learning. If you have any suggestions or ideas, please IM me inworld or post your thoughts here.
Some of the ideas for the next one are:
Informational booths
Sculpture displays
Scripted game displays
and possibly a fashion show consisting of clothing that our vendors have designed.
Onward, bigger and better.
