That's not the point....what a great way to make people who have stood in line for hours think that their vote meant something. I would be very angry if I got home from voting (and standing in line for 2+ hours) and they were already calling the election in favor of one person or another. It's just not right.

I just did. People scream about how much every vote counts.....that's obviously bullshit if people are calling a state before everyone has even voted.
edited to add: I'm not arguing the fact the Bush will *probably* take Ohio, I just don't think it's right to call it before everyone has voted, regardless of the probable results.

Princess... if those people weren't still voting and the exit polls weren't still going on, they couldn't call the state. Does that make sense?
Their votes ARE what makes it possible to call the state because in the end, THEIR votes ARE what "sealed" the election for W. They most definately counted.
