My HD died last friday so I won't be able to play the game while I save up for a new one. If you see "me" in-game, its not me. I gave my password to a person so I could get some unneeded land released etc. My email is [email]eggstasy@oninetspeed.pt[/email] if anyone wishes to contact me. I can check it from college, which is where I am right now  Could somebody tell David Cartier to contact me? I dont know his email but I need to talk to him. Thanks |

You have my sympathy Eggy... I know what thats like - in fact I'm sure I'm overdue a catastrophe (I get through at LEAST one a year lol).
I hope you havent lost too much data, and hope you get a new HD fixed up soon (for your sake... we all know what SL withdrawal can be like heh).

It was a 40 gig Seagate at 7200 RPM. I wonder if the old 5400 RPM ones were more reliable. I heard they were but nowadays i cant find any for sale. I've been shopping around portuguese websites and as far as I can see the cheapest drives are... 40 gig seagates  They cost 64 euros. I currently have 9 in my bank account I'm asking around for people with spare HDs they might let me have for cheap or even free. You wouldnt believe what people do to perfectly good computer parts. They buy a new computer and instead of using their old parts on the new one, they just tuck the old box in the closet and leave it to rust and moths. No luck so far, though I might just beg my relatives for some of my christmas money in advance  |
