Sure -- she owns most of the game anyway.

I imagine that whoever did win didn't want it, put it up for sale, and Anshe bought it, chopped it, and put the bits up for resale.

i have not seen an announcement posting the winner of the third vive drawing. the land can't be for sale. my understanding it that the winner may retain ownership of it tier free for one year. that doesn't translate into free tierage for the winner, only use of that particular lot.

i've always wondered if all the referrals ever made were put into the pot or just the ones that were generated during the individual contest periods.

Ahh, more Anshe sniping. Excellent. I had worried that we were maturing around here..

Vive Winner!
11-15-2004 07:49
D'oh! It looks like I told the person who won but not you guys. I am totally sorry. ClayBot Poole won Vive la Evolution last week including a premium membership, land allocation of 4096 m2 and the afore-mentioned land. He can do whatever he wants with the land including selling it to.....whomever.

Sorry for not covering all my bases,

Catherine

My, we are sensitive aren't we? As far as I read, there was no sniping, just a summary of the facts. You really need to stop reading into things before you start judging other people's maturity level.

I vote we just get rid of Vive if the land is just gonna be sold, parcelled and resold by a speulator. What is the point of having a contest otherwise?

the real prize is not the land. the land is a trifle.

Well, the only reason i would want it is the life time membership and the perks that go along with it.. they could keep the land. .especially with how cheap it is now days.

I am starting to see that, believe me.

Why not just give out a L$ prize instead if the land is a trifle?

That said, LL prolly doesn't care what becomes of the land as Vive is a marketing strategy anyway.

the land is a nice accessory to the main prize - lifetime free 4096 tier.

they should give out nicer land. like waterfront hub land. hmm, i'd definitely sell that! oh well.

I don't get it..

You ask "does anyone know who won?" and the link effectively points out... um... who... umm.. won... err..

I dunno... maybe all these power point presentations are getting me gibberrish. Isn't giving correct answers good?

The question was already answered by Catherine Linden on the first page of the thread. Your answer, though correct, was superfluous. Thanks for the effort though. And my apologies for having to deal with Powerpoint, the most retarded of all Office products.
