Well let's face it guys. Going into 1.0 wasn't anything special, except the beginning of the SL generation. Going into 1.1 was HUGE stuff, with awesome new script features and pretty, better performance. Now with 1.2 right around the corner with an awesome UI and crazy money overhaul, you have to wonder....
What in the WORLD will 1.3 be like?!
So, post your suggestions here!!!
My main attraction for 1.3? CUSTOM MADE GESTURES, PUH-LEASE!!!!

Support for stereo glasses and input from motion-tracking systems -- totally customizable gestures! Want to thumb your nose at someone, or flip them the bird? No problem!

Something that I have been nagging about since Beta:
INTERACTIVE GESTURES!!!
Handshakes, hugs, Sims-like kisses... things to show more interactivity with others.
Custom made gestures is another, and could go well with the other option.
Realistic clothing movement... skirts and jackets that move when avatars move quickly, think "soft body" coding from Splinter Cell.
Just a few ideas...
Bye bye for now, Alexis

4. External building and clothing preview
Clothing, ok. But NOT building. That's only helping kill the economy. Oh, and I would like Havok 2 and 2 person gestures por favor. Yo soy no muy paciente. Tu neccasitas apurar.

I would like to see a small graphics editor. Even something as crude as Paint that we could use to edit textures. We would be able to crop textures and use text to make signs and not have to upload the changes each time we want to adjust something.

Havoc 2 and CUSTOM ANIMATIONS ARE ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS......but not next Christmas...
Some type of texture previews would be nice, that could help clothing people and texturizers.

Havok 2 of course but I'm also hoping that a large LSL update is due. Arrays, llWriteLineToNotecard(), closer look at giving llFreeMemory() some meaning, global obj->obj communication, more llDialog (interface) type script calls, maybe some way to have free floating memory - attach 'cookies' to people or objects and some way to get a fully customizable marquee on 1 prim (text rasturization etc). You know, the small stuff. Maybe some structs and/or objects? HTML for a prim face? Email handling? Aside from the great gift of the new vehicle code, and a few added functions here and there, the scripting language has been largely unchanged since well before release, I think its due.

Improvement to the Texture Picker (quick preview, sorting/categorization) Improvement to Inventory Management screens (like being able to select/move multiple items, removal of the automatic "return to the top of the dialog" effect) Better Land tools, or changes to the way land is able to be terraformed (e.g. definable terrain mod restrictions). Multiple land styles/looks (sand, snow, grass, rock, etc.). Some way to do script prototyping offline (SL virtual machine / runtime ? ) =Sinclair

If 1.3 follows 1.2 lines
12-18-2003 05:27
It will be:
- Higher RL prices for land
- Higher L$ prices for land
- It will cost to release land as it could take income from LL
- Less land allowance for lifetime accounts as they no longer contribute to LL income
- Less stripend yet again, just to make it more of a challenge
- Event hosts will pay for the privallage of hosting events instead of getting the now redused L$250
- Graphics will look stunning
- Framerate will be awesome
- GUI will be a real piece of art
But who would still wanna play it?

how about customizeable GUI? give us skinning!
also, if you're going to remove deeding, get it all out. don't taunt us in the toolbars with it greyed out.
how about a slider bar or % for shinyness instead of 4 settings?
obviously, more mature sims and havok2.
give us something for releasing land. at least half would be nice.
more prims. and not just how many, i mean shapes too! i want working polyhedral dice to play dnd! larger prims too!
oh! here's a novel idea, how about more attatchment points? one for the neck even!

With the four new mature sims, SecondLife may have actually achieved a balance between mature and immature sims, as long as they keep adding sims proportionately.

But who would still wanna play it? And they're going to use the auto-texture opening and popup features to advertise cheap viagra, breast and penis enlargement, and of course, you will get notecards about how you can become rich by giving your bank information to a rich heir in Nigeria.

Customizable GUIs would be nice. Even if you had an editor to work with, in the next patch they'll overwrite it with a new colors.ini, viewart.ini.
I agree with the more prims part (different prims). I mean the ones that they have now are nice.. but as a builder, being having more available prims to work with makes life a bit more easier (bryce 5 comes to mind). Also on that note, there would be a ton of more creative builds if more different style prims were added.
The ability to link any and all objects would be a nice addon too. I hate having to go around the work and find out, its too far apart to link. Linking objects shouldnt matter how far apart they are nor how big. Just doesn't make sense.
