So if I am down to 15 available prims on my property and someone in a 100prim aircraft flies over-will I suddenly lose half my house?

Well first, there aren't very many 100 prim planes.

Now, I have a 1k zeppelin that ight of caused such things on an occasion or too(I had no idea and hadn't heard about the return glitch) -- but now adays it gets returned with no damage to the parcels it enters. To return someones property you have to do some deliberate things.

I think that as long as an avatar is seated in the vehicle (or whatever object), it's not counted against the prim limit.

And that is quite groovy. :)

Actually you don't. It's good that you haven't caused any problems. From what little I've seen of your Zep, it's a really cool build, and I'd hate for SL to have to lose it. But the return-order thing is a bug, pure and simple... if your 1k airship hasn't caused this (or has and nobody noticed) then it's luck, good or bad, and is something that needs to be fixed.

By the way, I appreciate your post. I'm sure if your Zep was responsible for one of these events, then you'd be the kind of person to own up and help sort it out. Unfortunately, you're in the minority.

Actually some more curious parties of mine parceled off a peice of land and we spent a good hour trying to invoke the bug(call it Hackers Curiousity) with no success. From what I can tell the bug was "fixed" in the eense that overloading land doesn't work -- you need to do something a little bit more. Also, as soon as the bug got announced I noticed my zeppelin being returned faster on no return land. Because of this I currently travel over occupied land much faster -- which prevents problems. Still, the accidentl invoking fo this bug seems fixed.

Maybe you're right, I'm no expert... or maybe the sit-on thing works... If that's the case, then if you hit a tp user home script, then any parcel your vehicle passes over after that might invoke it. More tests maybe? Anyway, good luck with this, however it turns out... you'll either find a fix or something to lever the lindens with...
