An update on Wilde Cunningham's Computer

First of all, we'd like to thank all of you who've been so giving to Wilde. Not only have you donated generously with money, towards a computer, but also in giving of yourselves! Its been staggering how welcome they've been made here in Second Life. Acceptance of this magnitude is rare to many of them outside of immediate family members. This alone has been healing and provided a raising of the human spirit.

As far as the computer is concerned, we have enough funds now (after the last bit sells in GOM), to purchase a nice mid range computer! (= there is a resident here who's also offered to help with a 15 inch monitor for them so it's easier to see from the second row of wheelchairs. How can we EVER thank each and everyone of you?

It's our ferverent hope others like "Wilde" will also come to SL, and will find the equality and empowerment which is Second Life. There's no value which can be set on living and building your dreams either in rl or sl. Neither can the value be set on the power of sharing, building and creating a viable society together!

Just seeing everyone support and pull together for "Wilde" shows me (and the world) that each of you are dynamos~ but I am once again reminded that "No man is an Island"- there is so much we can do when we give just lil bits... how much more when we can live selflessly and gather it together into large chunks.

Wilde and I would wish you all the best & most joyous year to come, with the realization of who you are, and what you have helped to do. TY again so much for looking past your
own interests and projects and problems to give and share.

Too bad I live in Europe... I have some spare 17" monitors...
I'm sure there's someone in the neighbourhood that has a spare one too...

well the doors are opening slowly, slowly in the minds of those near by. slowly slowly the help comes, and the adventures~ but ty for the thought of your 17" monitor. that was most kind~

for anyone who'd like an improptu hello with wilde just join their friends of friends group. its open enrollment for the purpose of a big hello when they come into world to visit. we never have all the time we'd like to have. but we look into the future and see a bit bigger and just enjoy what we can as we go.

many many exciting things now touch their lives. its fun to share~

time can constrain us a bit tho, so please never be put off. hopefully when we have all our componants, and are all set up, our playing time will be far more maximized!

tomorrow they get to meet someone for sl whose coming to visit with them in rl. the anticipation and sheer mystery of it all has been rich!
