Event Coordinators, You are breaking my heart :(

Ok...to start off.... a disclaimer.

This is NOT a bitch about or by someone who feels their event deserves precedence...HONEST. Just hear me out, please!!

Every week for many many more months than I can remember, I have been hosting Erotics (poetry limmerick fantasy competition) on Saturday night at 8pm.

I selected this date and time for a multitude of reasons, some being;

1) I get to attend all the fun Saturday stuff before 8, and all the great SL parties after 8.

2) all the SLers with RL families seem to have them all squared away by then

and 3) Once chosen, consistency seemed best

Now all the fun things I REALLY want to do on Saturdays are happening at 8pm LOL

I WANT to get Arabian at Eros!!!
I WANT to help L4L, and drink gin at the Serpent's Lair!!

Come on guys!! The WHOLE night was open!!! Nothing on the schedule from 2 til 8

I want to have fun too!!!!


WAA WAA WAA!!! LOL Ok. Its all out of my system!!

Now seriously, I am considering a new time frame for my weekly event, so as not to go up against the new weekly events that seem to favor this time.

IF I changed the time for Erotics, would all you lovely, sexy and creative people still attend?

Would I be just another jaded sell out to you?

Would you forget me, and rename all the children you previously named after me?

Would I have to send your postcards back?

<only one of those questions REALLY matter >

I do feel less 'settled in', entitled to, and secure in a new and different time slot, having been in this one for such a while now...
but hey! I'm all about evolution

For this week...I will just have Arabian day dreams, send some L$ to L4L, host my event.....and maybe paint my nails.

For next week...????

Hmmmm...this became a NON-rant all too quickly. Guess I need 'bitch' lessons

dang im glad i take the weekend OFF from holding events! and yes i feel your pain...there are so many good functions i miss because of events i need to hold myself....but if i could i would go to everyones.....and yes alana yours SHOULD take precedence <whispers....ok wheres my bribe money for saying that>
