I was reading the Post that Schwanson Schlegel made concerning his frustrations of possibly leaving Secondlife. I wonder how many have left this game for one reason or another and made an impact on peoples friendships, communities or forums. I know Catherine Cotton left, I just wondered what friends got impacted by others leaving. People you would like to remember and how they impacted your Secondlife for better or worst, and im sure there are alot I never knew, would be interesting to hear stories about them in rememberance.

Candy, I have known a lot of people that have left SL for one reason or another. Some cause of RL love situation some Cause of cyber sex and some because of inane dramatic BS. But what it really boils down to is this. Each person has to make themselves happy no one else can do it for them and when they realise this, in some not all cases they leave. Especially, when they realise whats making them unhappy was the very thing they thought gave them new life.

Anyway to those that Left I wish you the best.

To those that Stayed...hehe keep hanging in there...;)

I didn't ask for a generalization and lecture of why people left, maybe you mis-understood.

I had two very dear friends that both left, because one wanted to take their love RL and the other didn't was very sad at the time, I still see him sometimes on MSN but she completely disappeared :(

It is horrible when people you know leave, alot of my original friends haven't left, but they are rarely on for one reason or another, I personally can't imagine leaving, I have made so many wonderful friends, and met the most sweet guy...

*sigh* too much drama I guess...

Love you Stephanie and Seraphim, wherever you are :)

and Shiacolyte, you will always have a place in my heart :)

Larz Lambert left SL due to a relationship issues, I believe. He was a great builder. He lived in the same neighborhood I did and every day I was inspired by his creations. But recently, I have heard he is back under a new name. So I wonder how many leave but come back as someone else. hmmm, just a thought.

No, Candy I knew what I was typing I just wasnt going to recount 400 tales of Drama/Technical/political/and Real life descention as that would be a novel.

I chose not to be specific because of how recounting some of those tales could stir up emotions of other players hence bringing a ghost out of the closet.

But anyway good luck I wont deter this from your intial intent any further.

Sincerely, Shadow

Half the people who "leave" are really still present on another account...maybe more than half.

I miss the Homeyz

Does anyone miss the Homeyz like I do. I bet nobody remembers those funny guys Joshua Slate and his low-rider bike shop, Pop-Pop Money and his fantastic clothes, and that Congressman EZ Money. He always made me giggle.

Blake, I think you are the ONLY one that misses EZ Money.

I left a while ago.. came back recently.

Mostly, it's the clubs.

Clubs suck.
