strangle Inventory

wow its more annoying then ever,,,, when did this start to happen?

Drag anything from inventory and to a prim, inside, or a avatar, and it randomly scrolls down my inventory so i accidentally drag it into a folder.

or... the entire inventory scrolls down, so im looking at the bottom of it all of a sudden, and my mouse dont even need to be in the inventory box for that to happen.

You could just.. you know.. not move your cursor to the bottom of the window..

Lance LeFay : you ever tried this or just random quoting again?, you dont have to move the mouse pointer down to have this happen, it happens just dragging left or right to, or even upwards.

This has been happening to me, too. And since I am usually trying to move things upwards into a folder.. it's really annoying.

At least now I know it's not just me.

for what it's worth this doesn't happen to me. my inventory knows what's good for it so it behaves when i'm around.

Yep, happens to me too, very annoying when unpacking new stuff into inventory, I have to go on long hunts opening every folder in my inventory (and its biiig !) to find what I just dragged, or sometimes I just lose it altogether. Recently lost a very nice leather slave corset that way

There seems to be a delay of a few seconds before it goes berserk and auto moves and opens folders so I try and dash stuff in real quick before it does it. But to be honest, it still seems to be totally random, in that the way it scrolls seems to obey no predictable rule.

it happens every day, several times in a row; then it won't for a bit; then it starts again.

i have yet to develop a technique to avoid it. i can't spot a pattern well enough to recreate it.

try being in a relatively lag-free sim. helps for me I believe though I'll test it a bit more now that the thread's been started.

I have this happen too. constantly. I hate it, it sucks, its inconvienient as HELL.

Me too. If, for example, I want to textured different surfaces of something I drag the first texture on and bam, down to the bottom of the page. It drives me mad. In fact the whole inventory drives me mad. Moving items one by one is excruciating. Occasionally I delete something and it reappears in its original folder. Things have gone missing only to be found weeks later in a completely unrelated folder.

Have mercy on us LL - please give us new inventories.
