While LL works their asses off trying to get things running again, how about doing something else? Ya know, like the things you did before SL.

Some ideas...

Reintroduce yourself to your kids. They're those small people you rush AFK to feed every couple days.

Say hello to some friends and family. The kinds of friends and family you have phone numbers for, instead of calling cards.

Go to the store and stock up on all the munchies you'll be too drunk to go get tomorrow night when you really want them.

Go make some pancakes.

Go make me some pancakes.

Have sex with your spouse/sig other.

Make a festive New Years wreath with the soda cans stacking up around your desk.

The Lindens know SL is down. It isn't down on some whim of the Lindens, so bitching at them really won't make it go any faster.

I'm with Marak.

I still do plenty of the things I did before SL came along - it's just that SL is so much fun! Well that, and I have a particular friend who lives VERY far from me (and who, also happens to be going to bed in 5 minutes) that I would really have loved to have spent some time with. ^_^ Damn the time zone differences all to hell. So for me, the whining and bitching make me feel a lil better ... and I try to do it in such a manner as to not be personally offensive to anyone. What I mean is - I think there is a difference between saying "Waaaaaah I miss SL, I wish it would hurry up and WORK," than saying "Bleep those bleep-bleeps all to bleeping bleep for bleeping taking down the bleeping servers." ^_^ Just my $0.02

I need to bitch a bit myself...

I did spend the day with my family... but wanted to be in world with Reve for his B-Day before he headed out for the night in rl.

Thank God for Yahoo or I would be much more angry.

I know the Lindens work hard.

But the quality in world lately has been less then par. I am used to lag and I don't complain. In fact, I only come into the forums once in a while.

So yes, I do feel better for venting.
