Do you think Image Designers would be a good service to have in SL?

I think Image Designers would be a good thing to have in SL. An Image Designer helps people make their AV's look handsome or beautiful. I think this service would be in demand as some players may want to look good and need help doing it. I was one of the best if not the best Image Designer in Starwars Galaxies and have already one 3 contests and got an offer to join a Modeling Agency in SL and have had many compliments on my AV.

Of course there would have to be a program implemented by the Lindens or authorization for someone to make this program to be able to edit other peoples characters while in game...what do you guys think?

what is this now your second would this service be needed in sl thread in not even 48 hours?

Actually Blake, there are several already in game just not defined as how you have stated it.

Most are called Clothiers or Avatar Creators.

As far as enhancing someone elses avatar....see me in game some time sounds like you have a lot to learn yet about the world interface. I have been here two years and still learning every day.

Just give it a shot.. if it doesnt work out then try something else.. its trial and error.

Im talking about being able to access AV's characteristics like Facial..Body enhancements from their appearance menu. If this is possible..I don't know about it yet.

I know there are already people who offer complete av makeovers. But what's attractive is kinda subjective and personal. A friend had one of these image designers give her the treatment, and frankly I thought she was way cuter before she started.

Yes, Blake its possible thats why I said see me in world sometime. too lengthy to sit here and type it out on the forums and I dont have the interface here at work to give you the fine tune pointers you will need to get started.

You know Kris, its funny you should say that about your friend as I have had people come to me after buying a Vendor Skin I have and say this is light and that is dark and I want a custom skin.

I spend countless hours painting new skin for them and I swear as me as my witness...((remember I'm a god in sl it says so on my debug menu)) ....but as me as my witness...the skins I paint end up being nothing more than a Linden skin with a few highlight tweaks on the lower body.

Very very odd indeed.

You can give anyone a complete copy of your av, they edit it with the appearance menu and give it back. No big deal.

Well..the opinions of those I worked on..because if they weren't satisfied..they got their credits back.
