Has anyone noticed that lately it's almost impossible to pick up an item from inventory and move it to a different folder in your inventory?? Folders start opening and closing, inventory starts scrolling quickly all over the place, and half the time I end up dropping it somewhere wrong. Sometimes I don't even know where, as the whole thing jumps around so much it doesn't even stop in the place where the item is dropped!
It's such a small thing really, but it's getting very, very annoying. The inventory window is FAR too sensitive. I don't recall if it started this past patch or the one before.

Well, I don't know if it would be considered a "bug" but I filed a bug report on it anyway.... that as well as the stupid "select texture" feature in build mode lately. If you use it to adjust texture repeats and stretch, it reverts after porting, relogging, or ressing again.

It's definitely a bug. Sometimes when I hover the mouse over a folder to make it open, it scrolls my inventory and closes all the folders instead. It's driving me insane. It doesn't seem to do it all the time.

It would be nice to at least have an option for setting the "spring-loaded folder" time, like how OS X does it. The snapping action is definitely troubling to me too, especially when I am in the process of sorting many windows out. My hand-eye coordination ain't good, so it's a problem. Also, the very thing of using two Inv windows and shuffling between the two strikes me as redundant and definitely a good place to look regarding future revamping of how we organize our posessions in SL.

Yes. Sometimes I try to race it and get the item dropped into the proper folder before it spazzes. It's a little game SL and I play. If I lose, I have to go through every folder, trying to find the item again, then start over. It's fun.

I'd prefer it if the inventory didn't scroll or automatically open folders at all... ever. It's much faster and more efficient having two inventory windows open... er, at least it would be if it wasn't fighting against me.

Yes, spazzes out. Hate it, expecially when dropping textures onto prim faces one at a time. Hafta stop and find where the texture was again. >

I've noticed it lately, too. I'll be moving a Snapshot to a texture folder and with all the jumping and folders opening, I somehow find myself at the bottom of my inventory window.

I thought it was my mouse setting - so I changed it and because it was intermittant it did not happen for awhile, then happened again last night. Good to know it's not an issue with my client.

Yus.
Have you also noticed that if you delete multiple selected stuff the majority of it reappears right where it was?
Someone returned a build to me in about 150 pieces the other day. All came back to my lost and found folder. So I select them all and delete. 10 minutes of refreshing later, and I have about 143 pieces there. So I decide to delete 10 at a time. And each time, between 6 and 9 of them would reappear right back in the same folder. As you can imagine, it was damned annoying (and why can't we purge the Lost & Found in one click like we can trash?!)

From: Schwanson Schlegel I don't go into inventory anymore. I know... I don't want to see what else has gone missing either.
